Whew, after an all-nighter I finally finished the first draft of ‘Rachel’ at seven o’clock this morning, and oh poor Hazel. Mind you I wrote the second half of the book first, so the bit I’ve just finished was the middle, and hopefully there will be a happy ending for her. I know, of course, I’m just not saying yet. Meanwhile, I’m going back to get ‘Daughters’ finalised, ready to go live in about a week, while ‘Rachel’ gets the computerised equivalent of sitting in a drawer to mature for a while before I can face working it up to a state where it can be proof read.
