‘History Girls’, Book 9 of my ‘Saltbury Chronicles’ series, is finally about as good as I can make it, so it has gone off to my editor for major surgery on its punctuation and all of the hundred and one other minor miracles that editors weave.  I don’t know what it is about me, but I’ve never been able to work commas

Once it comes back I’ll go through implementing all the suggestions, then give it a last couple of read-throughs to try and catch what the movie business calls ‘continuity issues’, in other words things like chronological glitches, or a character being blonde in one book and dark haired in another, then I should have the book uploaded to Kindle towards the end of November in plenty of time for Christmas.

I’ve really enjoyed writing this one.  Having two stories running parallel but almost 200 years apart has been fascinating. I do hope you’re going to like it.
