One of the beauties of publishing on Kindle is that you can upload corrections and updates to books you’ve already published.
I’ve never been totally happy with ‘Haze’ the first book in my ‘Saltbury Chronicles’ series. The story is lovely, but I thought the language used wasn’t quite right for the book’s 16 year old narrator. It was maybe just a little bit too formal, so I have posted an improved version. The story is exactly as it was, but the language is a touch more teenage.
On top of that, some of my readers have been kind enough to point out typos and other glitches with my books. They’re inevitable, I’m afraid. I read through the texts multiple times before uploading them to Kindle and my wonderful editor goes through with the proverbial fine tooth comb. A few still get through, so if you do spot issues, feel free to let me know. It’s much appreciated.
That said, remember I write in British English, so North American readers might find spellings they’re not used to, but I’m very happy to have my errors pointed out. I’ve already posted a corrected version of my second ‘Saltbury’ book, ‘Annie’ and I plan to work through all the others over the next few months.
