My new book came out on Amazon Kindle in November and is now available on amazon.co.uk, amazon.com and worldwide. ‘Carol’ is the second in the sub-series narrated by Tina Burns and begins literally the day after the end of ‘Red’. Or to quote the cover blurb: “Our favorite redhead – […]
I’ve long been a fan of satirical fantasy writer Terry Pratchett and have just reread his last book: “The Shepherd’s Crown” where I spotted a little postscript that I hadn’t noticed before, written by Rob Wilkins, who now manages the Pratchett estate. It describes Sir Terry’s way of […]
The next book I publish, No’ 6 of the ‘Saltbury Chronicles’, is called ‘Carol’ and is one of the sub-series that has Tina Burns as narrator, rather than Hazel Fauld. It’s strange how things turn out. I wrote it over a year ago. In fact although they come […]
There’s something very special about typing the words ‘The End’, or even ‘To be continued’ at the end of a book. Well at least there is if you’re not me. Unfortunately as I can’t seem to write a book in the right order, and usually have more than […]

I occasionally get comments that there are not many strong male characters in my Saltbury books. Well the series is the story of two lesbians, Hazel and Tina, and Hazel is herself the child of a lesbian couple. We also first meet them when they are still at […]
Amazon Kindle have just put my new ‘Saltbury Chronicles’ book, ‘Rachel’ on line. It is number four in the series, and yes I know, Book five, ‘Red’ was published before it. Nobody’s perfect 🙂 Our favorite young Goth drummer, Hazel Fauld, and the love of her life, Annie […]
I am not someone who finds computers intuitive. Goodness knows how I ever worked without, them and I am old enough to remember having to. I still have a mechanical typewriter under my desk, and a drawer full of old fashioned Letraset dry transfers for lettering drawings. But […]
